a message from the owner of limitless learning

Hi there, 

My name is Cynthia Reed, and I am the BCBA, Director of Clinical Care and the Owner of Limitless Learning. I have been working with children with learning, behavioral and developmental disabilities since 2018, and I was born and raised in the Huntsville/Madison area.  I have two master’s degrees, one in Psychology, specializing in experimental research design, and a second in Applied Behavior Analysis, specializing in skill acquisition and behavior reduction & replacement through utilization of ABA principles.  I began working with children with special needs in a preschool setting while in graduate school at UAH, and I fell in love with the innocence, mystery, and endless potential that I saw in children with autism spectrum disorder. I have worked in several different clinical and school settings, and I am now living my dream as I facilitate learning and growth in the clinic setting at Limitless Learning. I have experience working with individuals between the ages of 18 months and 23 years of age, specializing in applied behavior analysis tailored to children between the ages of 2-12 years of age. At Limitless Learning, our number one priority is the growth and development of our clients. We also strive to strengthen our families by teaching them what a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder means, how it affects their child’s learning, and how they can assist their children in learning and acquiring new skills.  Additionally, our goal is to encourage play, social interaction, and joy throughout our clients’ days here as they accomplish their learning goals and learn replacement/appropriate behaviors. Our clinic model revolves around naturalistic teaching, facilitating play, functional engagement with toys and activities, and promoting socially significant engagement and change in the clients’ lives.  Our social skills group therapy model allows frequent opportunities for therapist facilitated social interactions which teach our children how to appropriately respond to one another.  This program is fantastic for teaching appropriate peer play by practicing taking turns, sharing, waiting for our turn to talk, responding to each other's comments and questions, responding to each other's emotions and needs, and so much more.  I look forward to hearing from you and learning how I can help you and your child reach their learning, social, and behavioral goals!
