All of our services are based on the principles of ABA and are provided directly by and/or supervised by a licensed behavior analyst.
Our Social Skills Day Program runs up to 5 days per week (schedule details vary per child based on parent schedule preferences), and allows the children to learn how to engage in appropriate social interactions while learning to manage their emotions, their internal and external responses to environmental and social triggers, and while following a school-like schedule. This program provides the children with consistent expectations, predictable transitions and outcomes, and scheduled free play.
Additionally, the social skills day program incorporates research-based ABA techniques and principles that have proven to be effective facilitators of learning. Some of these incorporated techniques include the use of visual aids (schedules, timers, choice boards), consistent schedules, logical travel patterns for transitions, strategic placement of children during learning activities, use of positive reinforcement and differential reinforcement, and many more.
